Luk Yu *Stanley Street

We tried to wake up early but our physically exhausted body just wouldn't allow. So we make our trip to this lovely yumcha place for brunch. Operating since 1933, Luk Yu is the most famous traditional teahouse remaining in the city. All the staff there are older people. Show some respect when you order.

This place captured the moment with its quaint wooden booth, black ceiling fan, marble table tops, rosewood furniture and spittoons { don't be grossed, it's not for you to spit, but for the waiter to pour away water }

Knowing me and the people whom I mix with, the waiter had to fill in the order form for us :) WE CAN'T READ CHINESE!

It was quite an experience.
