Anne Frank Huis *Amsterdam

I thought Amsterdam has nothing to offer besides sex and drugs. But the visit to this place really touches my heart.

They called this place Anne Frank House, a museum with a history.

Anne Frank is a victim of the German Occupation in Amsterdam.A group of 8 people including Anne Frank, who went into hiding in the Secret Annex were betrayed. She died just a few weeks before the liberation of the concentration and extermination camp.

She quoted this,"One day this terrible war will be over. The time will come when we will be people again and not just Jews."

There are millions of persons who lives were stolen or irrevocably scarred by racism. If only everyone will relate to people as individuals rather than as racial categories, the world will be brighter :)

Adelphi Theatre *London

The only musical I'd been to was Annie at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne. It was a concession ticket which i paid only $27.50 and the seat was really bad.

I got really good tickets for Chicago. I watched the movie and well, how should i phrase it...CRAP. I think some script are meant for musical and musical alone. Chicago is one of them. Let's not spoil it!

Before the musical: I get to go into the chamber at the British Parliament and listen to the everlasting, boring debate of the "green(house of common)" and "red(house of lords)" carpet people. The Baroness gave us a tour and it was really an eye-opener.
